Symond Martin, a sophomore at Page High, placed second in the Division 3 boys final by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 16:17.0 at the Arizona Interscholastic Association state championship meet at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Martin helped Page prevail by a 126-153 margin against American Leadership Academy West Foothills, securing back-to-back team titles and the 19th state championship in program history, which ranks third in Arizona prep history among boys cross country teams.
